Seniors enjoy “Breakfast with the Bishop”

As graduation draws near, the Class of 2023 had a chance to have  “Breakfast with the Bishop.” Each senior had the opportunity to ask the Bishop questions and learn more about his life through a little trivia about the Bishop himself.

“It was interesting, “said senior Ka’ena Choo. “[I]  got to know him a little bit more about him. I got to learn how he came into priesthood, becoming a bishop so I thought that was interesting”.

The “Breakfast with the Bishop” event has been a tradition for many years, with the Bishop visiting several Catholic high school l graduating senior classes.

“This event goes as far back as during the 1990s when Bishop Lorenzo wanted to ensure that he spoke with all graduating seniors,” explains Mr.Casupang.  The Bishop “wants to encourage students to continue their faith lives even beyond a Catholic School, wherever they go.”

While seniors were enjoying their meal, Bishop Larry got the chance to share some things about his life and to ask them questions.
