On Monday, April 22, 2019, Saint Louis squared off against the Iolani. The Crusaders had a record of 13-3, while the Red Raiders were 11-5. Coming into this game the Crusaders were playing with a chip on their shoulder, they lost both games against Iolani in the regular season. But the Crusaders knew they could take down the Red Raiders.

The start of this game was all defense, not much hitting but a lot of defense and pitching. In the third inning, the Red Raiders got on the board first by scoring five runs. Saint Louis was down but not out. The next inning Hunter Peneueta hit a three-run home run to put the Crusaders on the board. Also, they scored an extra run that inning. The score was now 5-4 and the Red Raiders were leading.

As we go into the sixth inning, Caleb Lomavita pitched all six innings. He had thrown 106 pitches, allowed 11 hits, 6 earned runs, 1 error, 1 walk, and 8 strikeouts. He was holding it down for the Crusaders through those six innings. In the sixth inning, Iolani scored one more run against the Crusaders. But it was far from over for the Crusaders. Going into the bottom of the sixth inning it was 6-4 and the Red Raiders were still leading. Saint Louis did not lead the game once so far. The Crusaders scored a run at the start of the inning so the score was now 6-5. Now there are two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Noah Tory is up to bat, and he hits a two-run home run to give the Crusaders their first lead of the game. The score was now 7-6 Crusaders lead.

In the last inning, JT Navyac came in to try and keep the Red Raiders from not scoring in the last inning of the game. Navyac pitched 18 pitches, allowed 3 hits, 0 earned runs, errors, and strikeouts, but had 2 walks. But he did what he had to do and not allow the Red Raiders from scoring and Saint Louis won the game thanks to the clutch hitting of Noah Tory in the bottom of the sixth inning.
