One of the most iconic duos is back at it again! Mike Lowery (Will Smith) and Marcus Brunett (Martin Lawrence) get back together for one last ride. The Bad Boys are back and aren’t so bad anymore. Before I get into it Beware! Spoilers ahead!

The movie starts off with the classic sports car. Mike speeding his way through the streets of Miami, and Marcus complaining. It looks like they’re on a hot pursuit but turns out, Marcusʻ daughter is giving birth. Marcus is now a grandpa but he prefers to be called “Pop-Pop”. The arrival of his new grandson has him contemplating the rest of his life. He’s always at work and realizes “…he’s getting too old for this shit.” He wants to settle down and spend time with his family. He can’t run around and get shot at every day. When he tells Mike, Mike wants him to stay.

Meanwhile, there is a bruja down in Mexico that escapes from prison along with her son’s help. Her name is Isabel Aretas. She wants revenge on the people who put her in prison and who put her husband in the grave. One of those people is Mike Lowery. She orders her son to kill him last so he can suffer. He disobeys his mom and goes for Mike first. There’s a bar party with all the officers and Marcus and Mike had a little wager. If Marcus won, he and Mike would turn in their badges. If he lost, Marcus would stay. In the middle of the race, Mike pulls away from Marcus and a motorcycle pulls up and guns down Mike. It was Armando. Marcus Goes to church and prays to God. He makes a deal with God that if Mike survives, Marcus will do no more crime. 

Fast forward Mike survives and wants Marcus to help avenge him. Marcus concedes and decides to help his best friend. They team up with a bunch of specialists in a group called A.M.M.O. While they try to hunt for who did this to Mike, Armando is cutting all loose ties and also trying to hurt Mike. He does so by killing the Captain when he and Mike are at a basketball game. Mike then, later on, gets into scuffles with Armando and they meet once or twice. Mike and Marcus try to meet up with a friend that has information but Armando gets to him first and kills him. Mike grabs his phone and traces a phone all the way to Mexico. 

Mike knows Isabel because they were lovers at one time. He was the bodyguard acting undercover. Her husband was unable to conceive and Mike is certain that Armando is his son. He wants to do it alone but Marcus follows him. Marcus also calls the members of A.M.M.O to help. There’s a huge gunfight, an abandoned building gets burned, Isabel dies, Mike tells his son the truth and wins his heart. Armando is now in prison suffering the consequences when at the end of the movie Mike proposes to him with an offer. Speculating his son might replace Marcus or be the face of Bad Boys.
