Saint Louis vs Iolani Basketball

Our varsity Saint Louis School basketball teamʻs season sadly came to an end on Thursday, February 7th. They lost to Iolani by a score of 65-41 in the first game of the ILH Championship tournament. Saint Louis senior Trey Taba led the team in scoring with 17 points. He was followed by his cousin, junior Nick Herbig who had 6 points. Trey Taba was awarded as the impact player for Saint Louis with his efforts.

Iolani started off with a first quarter lead of 10 points. Then in the second quarter,they took off by scoring 18 points and increasing their lead to 19 points. Saint Louis started to come back in the second half, but by that time it was a little too late.

Saint Louis finishes the 2019 season with a 10-10 record where they are 3-10 in league play. Although this wasnʻt the ideal season, they did improve from last yearʻs record. Look for Saint Louis to shock the state next year in basketball!
