The time has finally come! The football gods have finally chosen the final two out of the 32 competitors for the highly anticipated, Super Bowl 53. On February 3rd, two of America’s best pro football teams will face off in Atlanta, Georgia. The New England Patriots, starring their veteran QB, Tom Brady will go head to head with the Defensive Player of the Year, Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams.

Throughout the 2018 NFL football season, the New England Patriots had their bumps in the road, losing five times throughout the season, the most in a while. However, the Patriots had success towards the ending of the season,

winning their final four games of the season, including the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. The New England Patriots will be entering their 3rd Super Bowl, losing last year to the Philadelphia Eagles and winning in a spectacular comeback the year before against the Atlanta Falcons. The Patriots are looking to carry on their legacy.

The Los Angeles Rams have dominated teams this season, boasting a 13-3 record, edging out the Patriots’ 11-5 record. However, all of that would not matter now, as this will be the biggest game for some of the player’s lives. Rams hold one of the best defenses in the NFL, anchored by the DPOY, Aaron Donald. Donald has been a problem that opposing teams could not solve. For his position, Defensive Tackle, Donald holds the all-time season record with 19.5 sacks so far. The sack record for a single season amongst all defensive linemen is 22, which Donald will be aiming for.
