Game Review: Madden NFL 19

On August 10, 2018 “Madden NFL 19” was released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. This was EA Sports’ (Creators the sports video games, for example, NBA 2K, NHL, etc.) 30th year anniversary of coming out with a new Madden NFL video game for multiple consoles. Every year people always wonder how good is the next Madden going to be.

The creators of Madden always make improvements and adjustments to the game every year so that it would feel more realistic to an actual football game in real life. This year EA Sports added in about 19 features. Many people who think about Madden, do not think about the improvements and new things that they add. All they think about the game is that it is just a roster update which means they just add in new players and just leave the game the way it is, but that is not true.

This year EA Sports focused on the little things in the game. For example, they added in (RPM) which means real player movement, this means that the players actually play how they do in real life. That aspect makes the game feel like an actual football game. Another thing they added in was a new commentary. When you are playing a game the commentators actually commentate everything that is happening accurately. Those were just some of the little things they added into the game.

Overall after playing this game, I feel like this is the best Madden to come out yet. I feel like that because the gameplay feels more smooth and less choppy than previous Madden’s. Also “Madden NFL 19” feels more real, what I mean by that is it feels like you are in the game playing as one of the players. Although the game is a little expensive, it is worth spending the money on this game because you will never get bored of this game. You can play online with friends and there are so many things you can do. That is why I feel like this is one of the best games to come out this year.
